Recambia Servicios Logísticos is inaugurating a logistics platform in Valladolid that is dedicated to distributing spare parts for the three Grupo PSA brands, both to their own network (PSA Retail) as well as independent repair shops and dealerships.
Recambia is a company owned by Bergé Auto (a leading vehicle distribution company in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America) that specialises in comprehensive aftermarket industrial and automobile spare part logistics and urgent multi-product, multi-point distribution.
Located in the town of Laguna de Duero (Valladolid), the facility has a total surface area of 3,000 m2 and will manage some 32,000 references with various daily delivery services. This new facility falls within ‘Distrigo’, PSA’s new aftermarket spare part distribution network strategy in Spain, which is geared not only towards distributing new parts from the Group’s brands, but towards the full multi-brand after sales market and the entire current fleet.
Recambia has developed a micro-logistics model for automotive spare part distribution that allows various daily deliveries to be completed with a high level of service and reduced costs. This distribution model was presented by Recambia at the micro-logistics workshops held at this past edition of Motorteck in Madrid.
