Mitsubishi Motors in Spain
It was in 1986 that the distribution of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in the Spanish market began. Although the early years were marked by the limitations on the imports of Japanese vehicles, it was this phase that saw the laying of the solid foundations on which the current organization is built.
With the Montero as the icon of the brand, and thanks to the reputation that Mitsubishi Motors steadily gained for its robustness, reliability and state-of-the-art technology, the road to success was quite fast.
It is worth noting that today in Spain there is a total car park of more than 300,000 Mitsubishi Motors vehicles.
Throughout all these years, Mitsubishi Motors has always provided its customers with excellent quality and reliability – a constant focus of its commercial and after-sales activities.
Quality, reliability coupled with superior engineering – a long standing Mitsubishi Motors marker – have allowed the brand to maintain its position as one of the key players in the world of the 4×4, to open new market segments like the pick-up (L200) and pioneer future technology such as most recently, Clean Diesel (ASX), pure electric (i-MiEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (Outlander PHEV).
The latter will form the basis for the development of a whole new generation of vehicles that will allow a perfect symbiosis between environmental efficiency and driving dynamics.
