Liam Whaley, the world’s best kite surfer, will drive a Mitsubishi L200
It’s great news that Mitsubishi wants to join me this season. I’ll keep fighting to stay on top of the podium and give great satisfaction to my fans and sponsors that are pulling for me. I look forward to getting behind the wheel of the Mitsubishi L200 and trying out this fantastic next generation sports pick-up.

Liam is ranked number one in the world in Freestyle with 2,000 points after landing two resounding victories in trials in Dakhla (Morocco) and the Coche Island (Venezuela).
The next trial that is going to be held in Tarifa (Spain) is really special for me because I’ll be competing at home in front of my people, which always motivates me to do better.
A disciplined and competitive athlete, Liam has fought and trained tirelessly to improve his technique and move up in his competitive ranking with great effort and perseverance. Kitesurfing is an extreme water sport that transmits freedom, competition, and offers a great show.

After placing second in the 2014 World Championship, 18 year-old Liam faces this season with the intention of moving forward on his professional path and to continue improving year after year.
