B4Motion allows entry into its shareholding to Moventia

With the goal of strengthening its strategic growth plan, B4Motion (Venture +Lab founded by Bergé Auto) has allowed entry into its shareholding to Moventia, a leading transport and automotive mobility company, by way of an increase in capital.

“We would like to welcome Moventia to our mobility ecosystem and appreciate the trust they have shown in this project. Given its successful business trajectory and extensive experience in different areas of mobility, our new partner will definitely help in the consolidation of B4Motion’s ambitious growth plan”, stated Sebastián Canadell, President of B4Motion.

Since its founding in 2015, B4Motion has been fully aware of the fast-paced and profound transformation of the automotive sector and the new concept of mobility itself. In just a decade, we will bear witness to a sector experiencing much more important changes, and with greater impact, than that of the previous 100 years.

The combination of new “Mega – Trends” like the consolidation of carsharing and the emergence of autonomous, electric, and connected vehicles, with models updated annually, will lead the way to scenarios providing great opportunities for new business development.

As a result, companies like TRIVE (gotrive.com) focused on vehicle sales 100% online; BotOn, a connected vehicle company; WSP, a parking “as a service” company; or the vehicle subscription model, BIPI, are part of B4Motion’s current portfolio.

B4Motion’s 2019 goal is to continue to move forward with its research process, investments, and the creation of new companies associated with the mobility industry, strengthening its positioning as a unique Venture +Lab in Europe.

Since 1923, Moventia has been a leading sustainable mobility business group that is committed to people, society, the environment, and the quality of its services.
