October 1st marked the two-year anniversary of Infiniti in Spain, thanks to Bergé Automoción. The Japanese luxury and high performance automobile manufacturer was the only “prestigious” brand not yet competing in the European market, after 20 successful years in the U.S. and Canada.
Currently, Spain is Inifiniti’s most important European market, with sales of over 600 units from the start of its commercial activities.Along with France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Bulgaria and Greece, Spain was one of the nine countries chosen by Infiniti to begin operating in Europe and the Madrid and Paris Centres were the first two to open their doors on October 1, 2008.
INIFINITI CENTRES, A UNIQUE SPACE FOR A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
Since the brand’s establishment, those in charge were focused on differentiating the brand for its exclusive and conscientious customer service. This programme is known as TOE (Total Ownership Experience) and part of it includes the unique sales centres, which look and feel more like a boutique hotel or art gallery than an automobile dealership.Infiniti Centres are spacious areas that include large windows, noble materials and multimedia systems to configure the vehicles.
In Spain, the Madrid Centre, located on Paseo de la Castellana, was the first to open its doors.Next came the Barcelona Centre on Avenida Diagonal, the Valencia Centre on Avenida Maestro Rodrigo and the second centre in Catalonia, in Sant Cugat del Vallés.And now, it’s time to take the next step.
Bilbao and Seville are the two next locations for Infiniti Centres, which will be inaugurated in October of this year.
With these two centres, plus the four centres already operating in Spain, Infiniti covers the needs of 70% of the brand’s potential customers.Depending on the brand’s development in the upcoming months and the market evolution, new centres will be progressively opening in 2011.
