Just a few days ago, Ferrari Chile showed an extraordinary exhibition that included 55 of the Italian brand’s current and classic models. The exhibit transformed this showing into the most important event that the carmaker has held over the course of its history in Latin America. The reason: to celebrate the manufacturer’s 70 years in business.
Ferrari Chile pointed out that “this event was our way of contributing to Ferrari’s 70th anniversary. We wanted to celebrate in a unique, original way together with our clients and friends, so we organised an exhibition including models that have never been seen before in this country”.
The activity was held at the Hacienda Guay Guay de Chicureo, and started with the first-time exhibition of the new GTC4 Lusso model, an automobile with room for four passengers, that combines all the qualities of a high-performance sports car and a grand tourer.
The new Cavallino sports car – which will be officially presented in Chile during the first week of November – incorporates the engine of the FF, meaning the 6.3 litre and 12-cylinder air block. Of course, there is now increased power, reaching 690 Hp at 8,000 rpm (FF with 661 Hp), with 697 Nm torque at 5,750 rpm. The vehicle also includes a 7-speed automatic transmission that Ferrari calls the F1 DCT.Such power accelerates the machine from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and goes from 0 to 200 km/h in just 10.5 seconds, with a top speed of 335 kilometres per hour.
