Having won the gold medal in EuroBasket 2015 in France with the Spanish Team, Pablo Aguilar enjoys the KIA Sorento when driving around his new place of residence: Gran Canaria. With a length of 4.68 metres and a width of 1.88 metres, the new KIA Sorento fulfils the requirements associated with an active lifestyle, even those of a successful player in one of the top basketball leagues of the world and who belongs to the Spanish Team which has marked an era with bronze (Slovenia) and gold (France) medals in its last two EuroBasket participations.
KIA Canarias wished to provide him a vehicle worthy of its new ambassador. This is the 200 CV CRDi diesel 2.2 version with the Open Spirit finishing, one of the most fully equipped with sporting dual zone climate control, opening panoramic sunroof, 7’’ touchscreen navigation system, smart key, proximity boot opening, rain sensor and aids as useful as the front and rear parking sensors, the ignition and hill descent assists and the involuntary lane-change warning system, among many others. It also exceeds the average for its category regarding safety, with devices such as the active pedestrian protection system.
These devices and elements it equips make driving easier, improve safety and make life on board more pleasant. “I need a roomy car and, at the same time, one that is convenient to drive and the KIA Sorento offers both. It is very well equipped and I really like its design because, even being large, it has a striking and sporty line. It’s perfect”, explains Pablo Aguilar.
The endorsement of Pablo Aguilar forms part of the strategy of KIA Canarias in support of varied sports. “I fully identify with many of the values of KIA and also with the fact this is a brand which has been growing strongly in Europe. All its models are a safe bet”, says the power forward who, at a personal level, hopes to help his team “in securing its position as one of the best four or five in Spain”.
